धृतराष्ट्रस्य सत्कारः — Dhṛtarāṣṭra Honored in the Post-war Court

अकरोद्‌ बन्धमोक्षं च वध्यानां मोक्षणं तथा । न च धर्मसुतो राजा कदाचित्‌ किंचिदब्रवीत्‌,वे कैदियोंको कैदसे छुटकारा दे देते और वधके योग्य मनुष्योंको भी प्राणदान देकर छोड़ देते थे; किंतु धर्मपुत्र राजा युधिष्ठिर इसके लिये उनसे कभी कुछ कहते नहीं थे

akrod bandhamokṣaṃ ca vadhyānāṃ mokṣaṇaṃ tathā | na ca dharmasuto rājā kadācit kiṃcid abravīt ||

Baginda akan mengurniakan pembebasan daripada penjara, dan demikian juga melepaskan bahkan mereka yang sepatutnya dihukum mati. Namun Raja Yudhiṣṭhira, putera Dharma, tidak pernah pada bila-bila masa mengucapkan sepatah kata bantahan—diam membiarkan perbuatan belas ihsan itu tetap berlaku.
