अर्चयामास तं चापि तस्य राज्ञ: पुरोहित: । सत्यव्रतं महात्मानं देवकल्पं विशाम्पते,प्रजानाथ! राजाके पुरोहितने देवताओंके समान तेजस्वी सत्यव्रती महात्मा च्यवनमुनिका विधिपूर्वक पूजन किया

Transliteration

arcayāmāsa taṃ cāpi tasya rājñaḥ purohitaḥ | satyavrataṃ mahātmānaṃ devakalpaṃ viśāmpate prajānātha |

Translation

Bhishma berkata: Pendeta istana raja turut melaksanakan pemujaan kepadanya menurut tata—kepada resi agung Cyavana, yang teguh pada satya-vrata dan bersinar laksana dewa, wahai tuan rakyat. Petikan ini menegaskan penghormatan terhadap integriti rohani serta kewajipan raja untuk memuliakan mereka yang tegak dalam kebenaran dan dharma.
