ते पूजिता: सुखासीना: कथाश्षक्रुर्महर्षय:

te pūjitāḥ sukhāsīnāḥ kathāś cakrur maharṣayaḥ

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah dimuliakan sebagaimana wajar, para resi agung pun duduk dengan tenang dan kemudian memulakan perbincangan.
