रुद्र-स्तवराजः (Rudra-Stavarāja) — Exempla of Śiva’s Boons and the Hymn’s Phalaśruti
मृत्यु: प्रोवाच रुद्रेभ्यो रुद्रेभ्यस्तण्डिमागमत् । महता तपसा प्राप्तस्तण्डिना ब्रह्मसझनि
mṛtyuḥ provāca rudrebhyo rudrebhyas taṇḍim āgamat | mahatā tapasā prāptas taṇḍinā brahmaloke ||
Vāyu berkata: “Mṛtyu mengajarkan ajaran ini kepada para Rudra; daripada para Rudra ia sampai kepada Taṇḍi. Taṇḍi memperolehnya di Brahmaloka melalui tapa yang amat besar.”
