Educational Q&A

The verse highlights ethical discernment and self-mastery: when one has conquered anger and is found free of wrongdoing, the righteous response is approval and benevolence (here, the offering of a boon), not blame or retaliation.

Vāyu-deva addresses Govinda (Kṛṣṇa), declares that he has detected no offense on Kṛṣṇa’s part in the present situation, expresses satisfaction, and invites him to ask for any desired boon.
