Vāyu-deva berkata: “Wahai engkau yang teguh dalam ikrar mulia, sesungguhnya aku tidak melihat sebarang kesalahanmu di sini. Aku berkenan kepadamu, Govinda. Maka mintalah apa jua hasrat yang engkau inginkan.”
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights ethical discernment and self-mastery: when one has conquered anger and is found free of wrongdoing, the righteous response is approval and benevolence (here, the offering of a boon), not blame or retaliation.
Vāyu-deva addresses Govinda (Kṛṣṇa), declares that he has detected no offense on Kṛṣṇa’s part in the present situation, expresses satisfaction, and invites him to ask for any desired boon.
