Shloka 22

तस्यैवोर्ध्व॑ तिर्यगधश्षुरन्ति गभस्तयो मेदिनीं भासयन्त: । त॑ं ब्राह्मणा वेदविदो जुषन्ति तस्यादित्यो भामुपयुज्य भाति,इन्हींके ऊपर-नीचे तथा अगल-बगलनमें पृथ्वीको प्रकाशित करनेवाली किरणें फैलती हैं। वेदवेत्ता ब्राह्मण इन्हींकी सेवा करते हैं और इन्हींके प्रकाशका सहारा लेकर सूर्यदेव प्रकाशित होते हैं

tasyaivordhvaṁ tiryag adhaś ca śuranti gabhastayo medinīṁ bhāsayantaḥ | taṁ brāhmaṇā vedavido juṣanti tasyādityo bhām upayujya bhāti ||

Daripada-Nya semata-mata, sinar memancar ke atas, ke sisi, dan ke bawah, menerangi bumi. Para Brahmana yang mengetahui Veda memuliakan serta berkhidmat kepada Prinsip itu sendiri; dan Dewa Surya bersinar dengan bersandar pada cahaya kemuliaan-Nya.

All illumination and order—symbolized by rays pervading every direction and even the Sun’s shining—depend on a single supreme source. Dharma is implied to be living in harmony with that source through Vedic insight, reverence, and disciplined service.
