Shloka 62
रोगार्तो व्याधियुक्तो वा पठन् पापात् प्रमुच्यते । वास्तुमध्ये तु पठत: कुले स्वस्त्ययनं भवेत्
rogārto vyādhiyukto vā paṭhan pāpāt pramucyate | vāstumadhye tu paṭhataḥ kule svastyayanaṃ bhavet ||
Bhishma berkata: Sama ada seseorang itu menderita sakit atau ditimpa penyakit, dengan membacanya dia dibebaskan daripada dosa. Dan jika ia dibaca di dalam kediaman sendiri, ia menjadi sebab kesejahteraan dan keberkatan bagi seluruh keturunan.
