मुनयश्वैव सिद्धाश्च॒ तपोमोक्षपरायणा: । शुचिस्मिता: कीर्तयतां प्रयच्छन्ति शुभं नृूणाम्
munayaś caiva siddhāś ca tapo-mokṣa-parāyaṇāḥ | śuci-smitāḥ kīrtayatāṃ prayacchanti śubhaṃ nṝṇām ||
Bhīṣma berkata: “Para resi dan makhluk sempurna—yang menumpukan diri pada tapa dan pembebasan—suci dan tersenyum lembut, menganugerahkan kebaikan yang membawa berkat kepada manusia yang melafazkan serta memuliakan nama mereka.”
भीष्म उवाच
Honoring and praising spiritually accomplished beings—sages and siddhas devoted to tapas and moksha—brings auspicious results, emphasizing reverence for virtue and spiritual attainment as a source of ethical uplift.
Bhishma continues his instruction in Anushasana Parva by describing classes of exalted beings; here he highlights munis and siddhas and states that those who recite and celebrate them receive beneficial, auspicious outcomes.
