भीष्मस्योत्तरायणप्रतीक्षा तथा युधिष्ठिरागमनम् | Bhīṣma’s uttarāyaṇa moment and Yudhiṣṭhira’s arrival

धर्मार्थ पुरुषव्यात्र ऋषिकोटी: ससर्ज ह । ता: सृष्टास्तेन विभुना पर्वते गन्धमादने

dharma-artha puruṣa-vyāghra ṛṣi-koṭīḥ sasarja ha | tāḥ sṛṣṭās tena vibhunā parvate gandhamādane ||

Wahai harimau di antara manusia! Demi dharma dan artha, Tuhan Yang Maha Berkuasa telah melahirkan berpuluh-puluh juta para ṛṣi. Dicipta oleh Penguasa yang meliputi segala itu, para resi tersebut berdiam di Gunung Gandhamādana, sentiasa tekun dalam tapa. Maka, wahai yang terbaik antara kaum dwijati, hendaklah sentiasa menunduk memberi hormat kepada Vāsudeva—mahir dalam wacana suci dan mengetahui dharma—kerana pemujaan kepada Tuhan Yang Tertinggi membawa kepada pencapaian kebenaran yang paling luhur.
