Shloka 44

कल्मषापहर-कीर्तनम् / Kīrtana for the Removal of Impurity

दुष्प्रज्ञाश्नापरे देव ज्ञानविज्ञानवर्जिता: । केन कर्मविशेषेण प्रज्ञावान्‌ पुरुषो भवेत्‌

duṣprajñāś cāpare deva jñāna-vijñāna-varjitāḥ | kena karma-viśeṣeṇa prajñāvān puruṣo bhavet, deva ||

Maheshvara bersabda: “Wahai Tuhan, ada pula manusia yang kelihatan tumpul, tidak memiliki ilmu yang benar mahupun kebijaksanaan yang terserlah. Dalam keadaan demikian, dengan perbuatan khusus apakah seseorang dapat menjadi bijaksana, wahai Tuhan?”
