गुरु चाभिगतं प्रेम्णा गुरुवन्न बुभूषते । अभिमानप्रवृत्तेन लोभेन समवस्थिता:

Transliteration

guruṁ cābhigataṁ premṇā guruvan na bubhūṣate | abhimāna-pravṛttena lobhena samavasthitāḥ |

Translation

Apabila guru datang, mereka tidak memuja dengan kasih dan hormat—mereka enggan memuliakannya sebagai seorang guru. Dikuasai oleh kesombongan dan ketamakan, mereka menghina orang yang patut dihormati dan meremehkan para tua. Wahai Devi, semua yang berbuat demikian adalah orang yang menuju neraka.
