सर्वातिथ्यं त्रिवर्गस्य यथाशक्ति निशानिशम्‌ | शूद्रधर्म: समाख्यातस्त्रिवर्गपरिचारणम्‌

sarvātithyaṁ trivargasya yathāśakti niśāniśam | śūdradharmaḥ samākhyātas trivargaparicāraṇam ||

Mahesvara bersabda: “Seorang Śūdra, menurut kemampuannya, hendaklah terus-menerus—hari demi hari—memberi layanan tetamu yang sempurna serta sambutan penuh hormat kepada tiga golongan yang lebih tinggi. Berkhidmat dan menghadiri Brahmin, Kṣatriya, dan Vaiśya dinyatakan sebagai dharma utamanya.”
