अनादिमध्यपर्यन्तं ज्ञानैश्वर्यमचिन्तितम्‌ । आत्मानं परमं यस्माद्‌ वरं तस्माद्‌ वृणीमहे

Transliteration

anādimadhyaparyantaṁ jñānaiśvaryam acintitam | ātmānaṁ paramaṁ yasmād varaṁ tasmād vṛṇīmahe ||

Translation

“Dia yang tiada awal, tiada pertengahan, tiada penghabisan; yang kedaulatan-Nya ialah pengetahuan yang murni; dan yang melampaui jangkauan daya fikir—maka kerana itulah Dia disebut Diri Tertinggi. Oleh itu, daripada Mahādeva itulah kami akan memohon anugerah.”
