भूमिदान-प्रसङ्गः । काश्यपी-पृथिवी तथा उतथ्य-वरुण-संवादः

यावच्च जायते मर्त्यस्तावच्छूरो भविष्यति । वह अपने सारे पापोंको धो डालता है और परलोकमें आधिपत्य प्राप्त करता है। फिर जब वह मनुष्ययोनिमें जन्म लेता है, तब शूरवीर होता है
yāvac ca jāyate martyas tāvac chūro bhaviṣyati |
Skanda mengisytiharkan: “Selama seseorang terus lahir sebagai insan fana, selama itu juga dia akan berulang kali lahir dengan semangat seorang wira. Melalui buah penyucian daripada amal perbuatannya, dia membasuh segala dosa yang terkumpul, memperoleh kekuasaan di alam kemudian; dan apabila kembali lahir sebagai manusia, dia dianugerahi lagi keberanian serta watak kepahlawanan.”
