अध्याय १३२ — कर्मणा मनसा वाचा: स्वर्गमार्गः तथा आयुर्विपाकः
Adhyāya 132 — The path to heaven through deed, mind, and speech; karmic results for lifespan
अपना बछ। है २ २4 सप्तविशर्त्याधिेकशततमो< ध्याय: अग्नि
bhīṣma uvāca | salilasya aghaṃ jaliṃ pūrṇam akṣatāś ca ghṛtottarāḥ | somasya uttiṣṭhamānasya taj jalaṃ cākṣatāṃś ca tān |
Bhīṣma berkata: Ketika Bulan sedang terbit, jika seseorang menghadap Bulan dan mempersembahkan segenggam penuh air (anjali) bersama ghee dan akṣata (butir padi/beras yang tidak pecah), maka persembahan itu dianggap telah menyempurnakan kewajipan Agnihotra. Dengan perbuatan itu, tiga api suci—seperti Gārhapatya dan yang lain—juga dianggap telah dipuaskan dengan persembahan yang sewajarnya.
