Educational Q&A

The verse uses the motif of a divine vimāna to suggest that righteous conduct and accumulated merit can lead to exalted states and divinely supported passage—an ethical reminder that dharma bears elevated fruits.

Aṅgiras describes a figure travelling in a celestial aerial car drawn by a thousand swans, emphasizing the grandeur and otherworldly nature of the journey as part of a larger discourse on rewards and outcomes connected with virtue.
