नहुषोपाख्यानम्—दीपदान-धूप-बलीकर्म-प्रशंसा

Nahūṣa Episode and the Commendation of Lamp-Gifting and Household Offerings

अगस्त्योडपि महातेजा: कृत्वा कार्य शतक्रतो: । स्वमाश्रमपदं प्रायात्‌ पूज्यमानो द्विजातिभि:,महातेजस्वी अगस्त्य भी शतक्रतु इन्द्रका कार्य सिद्ध करके द्विजातियोंसे पूजित होकर अपने आश्रमको चले गये

agastyod api mahātejāḥ kṛtvā kāryaṃ śatakratoḥ | svam āśramapadaṃ prāyāt pūjyamāno dvijātibhiḥ ||

Bhīṣma berkata: Bahkan resi Agastya yang maha-bercahaya, setelah menyempurnakan tugas Śatakratu (Indra), kembali ke pertapaannya sendiri—dihormati dan dipuja oleh kaum dwija (yang “dua kali lahir”).
