अथ सर्जरसादीनां गंधै: पार्थिव दारवै: । फाणितासवसंयुक्तर्मनुष्याणां विधीयते

Transliteration

atha sarjarasādīnāṁ gandhaiḥ pārthiva dāravaiḥ | phāṇitāsavasaṁyuktaṁ manuṣyāṇāṁ vidhīyate, pṛthvīnātha! |

Translation

Śukra berkata: “Wahai tuan bumi, untuk kegunaan manusia disediakan campuran harum buatan: ia dibuat dengan menggabungkan bau bahan bergetah seperti sarja serta aromatik daripada unsur tanah dan kayu, lalu dicampur dengan sirap manis dan pati yang diperam. Inilah dupa campuran yang lazim digunakan manusia.”
