Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
श्रियस्तु भाग: संजज्ञे रत्यर्थ पृथिवीतले । भीष्मकस्य कुले साध्वी रुक्मिणी नाम नामत:
śriyastu bhāgaḥ saṃjajñe ratyarthaṃ pṛthivītale | bhīṣmakasya kule sādhvī rukmiṇī nāma nāmataḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: Demi kegembiraan dan kesejahteraan dunia di bumi, sebahagian daripada Śrī (Lakṣmī) telah lahir, menampakkan diri dalam keturunan mulia Bhīṣmaka sebagai wanita suci bernama Rukmiṇī.
