Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ

King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt

वायुना प्रेर्यमाणस्तु धूम्राय मुदमन्वगात्‌ । तस्य रेत: प्रचस्कन्द चरतो गहने वने

vāyunā preryamāṇas tu dhūmrāya mudam anvagāt | tasya retaḥ pracaskanda carato gahane vane ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Didorong angin yang menyalakan nafsu, fikiran baginda berpaling kepada kenikmatan inderawi. Ketika baginda merayau dalam rimba yang lebat, air maninya terlepas tanpa disedari—suatu peristiwa yang menggerakkan keadaan luar biasa tentang pembuahan dan susur galur keturunan.
