तक्षक उवाच
As a colophon, the verse itself does not teach through direct instruction; it frames the narrative as a completed unit. By highlighting “Takṣaka’s bite,” it implicitly points to the epic’s ethical concern with how harmful actions set chains of consequence in motion.
This is the chapter-ending colophon stating that the forty-third chapter of the Ādi Parva—within the Āstīka episode and focused on Takṣaka’s biting—has concluded.
