आर्यव्रतश्न॒ पाज्चाल्यो न स राजा धनप्रिय: । न संत्यक्ष्यति कौन्तेयान्‌ राज्यदानैरपि ध्रुवम्‌

Translation

Karna berkata: “Raja Pañcāla, Drupada, berpegang teguh pada laku mulia para ārya; baginda bukanlah pencinta harta. Maka, sekalipun kamu menyerahkan seluruh kerajaan, baginda pasti tidak akan meninggalkan putera-putera Kuntī—para Kaunteya.”
