अर्जुनस्य लक्ष्यवेधः
Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
षडड्रश्चाखिलो वेद इमं गर्भस्थमेव ह । विवेश भृगुवंशस्य भूय: प्रियचिकीर्षया,भूगुकुलका पुनः प्रिय करनेकी इच्छासे छहों अंगोंसहित सम्पूर्ण वेद इस बालकको गर्भमें ही प्राप्त हो गये थे
ṣaḍaṅgaś cākhilo veda imaṁ garbhastham eva ha | viveśa bhṛguvaṁśasya bhūyaḥ priyacikīrṣayā ||
Vasiṣṭha berkata: “Sesungguhnya, seluruh Veda beserta enam ilmu bantuannya telah memasuki anak ini ketika ia masih dalam kandungan—sekali lagi—demi hasrat melakukan apa yang berkenan kepada keturunan Bhṛgu.”
