एकचक्रानिवासे ब्राह्मणगृहदुःखश्रवणम् | Hearing the Brāhmaṇa Household’s Distress at Ekacakrā

एवं सर्वान्‌ कुरून्‌ वृद्धानभिवाद्य यतव्रता: । समालिज्गय समानान्‌ वै बालैश्लाप्पभिवादिता:

evaṁ sarvān kurūn vṛddhān abhivādya yatavratāḥ | samāliṅgya samānān vai bālaiś cāpy abhivāditāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Setelah menunduk memberi salam kepada semua Kuru yang tua, para Pāṇḍava—teguh pada ikrar dan berdisiplin—memeluk mereka yang sebaya sebagai setara; dan sesudah itu mereka pula diberi salam hormat oleh anak-anak.
