न हि किंचिददेयं मे गुरवे ब्रह्म॒वित्तम | एकलव्यने कहा--भगवन्! मैं आपको क्या दूँ? स्वयं गुरुदेव ही मुझे इसके लिये आज्ञा दें। ब्रह्मवेत्ताओंमें श्रेष्ठ आचार्य! मेरे पास कोई ऐसी वस्तु नहीं
na hi kiñcid adeyaṃ me gurave brahmavittama
Ekalavya berkata: “Bagi guruku, tiada sesuatu pun yang tidak dapat aku persembahkan. Wahai yang terbaik antara para pengenal Brahman, tiada apa yang aku miliki yang akan aku tahan daripada guru.”
