Adhyāya 125: Raṅga-pradarśana — Arjuna’s Entry and Astric Demonstration (रङ्गप्रदर्शनम्)

प्रहृष्मनसं तत्र विचरन्तं यथामरम्‌ । त॑ माद्रयनुजगामैका वसनं बिभ्रती शुभम्‌,वे मनमें हर्षोल्लास भरकर देवताकी भाँति वहाँ विचर रहे थे। उस समय माद्री सुन्दर वस्त्र पहने अकेली उनके पीछे-पीछे जा रही थी

prahṛṣṭamanasaṃ tatra vicarantaṃ yathāmaram | taṃ mādrī anujagāmaikā vasanaṃ bibhratī śubham ||

Vaiśampāyana berkata: Di sana baginda berjalan dengan hati yang meluap gembira, bagaikan dewa di kalangan yang abadi. Pada waktu itu Mādrī, mengenakan busana yang indah lagi bertuah, mengikutinya seorang diri—selangkah demi selangkah—melayani dengan setia dalam diam.
