The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
अमावास्यां तु सहिता ऋषय: संशितव्रता: । ब्रह्माणं द्रष्टकामास्ते सम्प्रतस्थुर्महर्षय:
amāvāsyāṃ tu sahitā ṛṣayaḥ saṃśitavratāḥ | brahmāṇaṃ draṣṭukāmās te sampratasthur maharṣayaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Pada hari bulan baharu (amāvāsyā), ramai resi—yang teguh dengan nazar dan disiplin yang keras—berhimpun bersama. Dengan hasrat untuk menatap Brahmā, para maharṣi itu pun berangkat menuju Brahmaloka.”
