नियोगप्रसङ्गः — The Niyoga Episode: Births of Dhṛtarāṣṭra, Pāṇḍu, and Vidura
अयाचन्त च मां राजन् वरं तच्च मया कृतम् । जाताउ्जातानू प्रक्षिपास्मान् स्वयं गड़े त्वमम्भसि
ayācanta ca māṃ rājan varaṃ tacca mayā kṛtam | jātaujātānū prakṣipāsmān svayaṃ gaṅge tvam ambhasi rājan |
Vaiśaṃpāyana berkata: “Wahai Raja, pada waktu itu mereka memohon suatu anugerah daripadaku, dan aku mengurniakannya. Permintaan mereka begini: ‘Wahai Gaṅgā, setiap kali kami lahir berulang-ulang, engkau sendiri hendaklah mencampakkan kami ke dalam airmu, wahai Raja.’”
