Adhyaya 84: शिवव्रतकथनम्
Uma–Maheshvara Vrata, Shula-dana, and Month-wise Ekabhakta Vrata
वामे पाशं भवान्याश् च कमलं हेमभूषितम् विष्णोश् च शङ्खं चक्रं च गदामब्जं प्रयत्नतः
vāme pāśaṃ bhavānyāś ca kamalaṃ hemabhūṣitam viṣṇoś ca śaṅkhaṃ cakraṃ ca gadāmabjaṃ prayatnataḥ
Di sebelah kiri, hendaklah diletakkan dengan cermat jerat (pāśa) Bhavānī dan teratai baginda yang dihiasi emas; dan juga sangkha, cakra, gada serta teratai Viṣṇu—disusun dengan tekun menurut adabnya.

It gives a practical ritual-iconographic instruction: while honoring the Linga and its divine sphere, the worshipper arranges the emblems of Śakti (Bhavānī) and Viṣṇu with care, expressing completeness of worship and cosmic order under Śiva’s supremacy.
By including Bhavānī’s pāśa and lotus alongside Viṣṇu’s conch, discus, mace, and lotus, the verse reflects Śiva-tattva as the integrating Pati-principle—within whom Śakti and other deities’ functions are harmonized for governance and liberation of the paśu.
It highlights puja-vidhi through precise placement (nyāsa-like attentiveness) of āyudhas and symbols; philosophically, the pāśa emblem points to bondage that is restrained and ultimately severed through Pāśupata-oriented devotion to Pati (Śiva).
