FAQs

It teaches that the spiritual efficacy of Linga-pratiṣṭhā is not restricted to costly materials; sincere installation and proper worship in Śiva’s temple, done according to one’s means, is praised.

By directing establishment in “Śaṅkara’s abode,” it frames Śiva as Pati—the gracious Lord who receives worship through the consecrated Linga, making the temple a locus of His anugraha (liberating grace) for the pashu.

It highlights Linga-pratiṣṭhā followed by samabhyarcana (formal worship). This is a core Shaiva pūjā-vidhi practice that supports purification of the pashu and loosening of pāśa through disciplined devotion.
