अग्न्यभ्यासे जले वापि शुष्कपर्णचये तथा जन्तुव्याप्ते श्मशाने च जीर्णगोष्ठे चतुष्पथे
agnyabhyāse jale vāpi śuṣkaparṇacaye tathā jantuvyāpte śmaśāne ca jīrṇagoṣṭhe catuṣpathe
Di dekat tempat latihan api, di dalam air, di atas timbunan daun kering; di tanah pembakaran mayat yang dipenuhi makhluk; di kandang lembu tua yang ditinggalkan; dan di simpang empat—tempat-tempat ini dinyatakan tidak sesuai bagi amalan yang mantap dalam disiplin Śiva, kerana mengganggu keteguhan minda serta kesucian yang diperlukan untuk pemujaan dan yoga.
