Shloka 37

Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

शुद्धस्य सिद्धयो दृष्टा नैवाशुद्धस्य सिद्धयः न्यायेनागतया वृत्त्या संतुष्टो यस्तु सुव्रतः

śuddhasya siddhayo dṛṣṭā naivāśuddhasya siddhayaḥ nyāyenāgatayā vṛttyā saṃtuṣṭo yastu suvrataḥ

Siddhi terlihat muncul bagi yang suci; bagi yang tidak suci, siddhi sama sekali tidak muncul. Namun orang yang berikrar mulia, yang reda hati dengan rezeki yang diperoleh melalui jalan yang benar, menjadi layak menempuh jalan Śaiva yang menuntun paśu (jiwa terikat) menuju Pati (Śiva).
