It emphasizes that Śiva-arcana is strengthened when performed with Vaidika supports—an altar (vedi), consecrated materials, and ghee-offerings—showing that disciplined ritual form (vidhi) can serve devotion to Pati (Śiva).
By presenting Mahādeva as worthy of the highest (anuttama) and fully Vedic worship, the verse implies Śiva’s status as Pati—the supreme Lord who receives mantra and offering, and whose presence sanctifies the entire rite.
A Vaidika-style pūjā/homa orientation is highlighted: constructing a vedi, preparing pure offerings (piṣṭa, ājya), and employing mantra-śakti—foundational disciplines that support Pāśupata-aligned purity and focused worship.
