Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti
पशुत्वादिति सत्यं च प्रतिज्ञातं समाहिताः ये चाप्यन्ये चरिष्यन्ति व्रतं पाशुपतं मम
paśutvāditi satyaṃ ca pratijñātaṃ samāhitāḥ ye cāpyanye cariṣyanti vrataṃ pāśupataṃ mama
“Benarlah bahawa makhluk berada dalam paśutva, keadaan sebagai paśu yang terikat.” Dengan fikiran yang teguh mereka telah berikrar; dan sesiapa pun yang lain yang mengamalkan vrata Pāśupata-Ku, dia juga akan memasuki disiplin yang menuntun paśu menuju Pati, Sang Tuhan.
