Adhyaya 72 — Puradāha: Rudra’s Cosmic Chariot, Pāśupata-Vrata, and Brahmā’s Shiva-Stuti

विद्युत्कोटिप्रतीकाशम् अष्टकाशं सुशोभनम् रूपमास्थाय लोके ऽस्मिन् संस्थिताय शिवात्मने

vidyutkoṭipratīkāśam aṣṭakāśaṃ suśobhanam rūpamāsthāya loke 'smin saṃsthitāya śivātmane

Sembah sujud kepada Tuhan yang berjiwa Śiva, yang teguh bersemayam di dunia ini (sebagai Pati, hakikat yang bersemayam di dalam), setelah mengambil rupa yang amat indah, bercahaya laksana sepuluh juta kilat dan bersinar dengan kemuliaan lapan serba.
