Suta Goswami
It frames Linga worship within recurring cosmic cycles (Kalpas and Manvantaras), implying that devotion to Pati (Śiva) remains the stable refuge for the Pashu (soul) across all repeating creations.
By emphasizing repeatable cosmic order, it points to Śiva as Pati—the steady Lord who transcends yet regulates time, while worlds and ages arise and dissolve in patterned succession.
No specific rite is named; the practical takeaway is to align pūjā and vrata with sacred time (tithi, yuga, kalpa awareness), a common Purāṇic discipline supporting Pāśupata orientation toward liberation.
