Shloka 27

ययातिना पूरौ राज्याभिषेकः, दिक्प्रदानं, तृष्णा-वैराग्योपदेशः, वनप्रवेशः च

धनी प्रजावान् आयुष्मान् कीर्तिमांश् च भवेन्नरः ययातिचरितं पुण्यं पठञ्छृण्वंश् च बुद्धिमान्

dhanī prajāvān āyuṣmān kīrtimāṃś ca bhavennaraḥ yayāticaritaṃ puṇyaṃ paṭhañchṛṇvaṃś ca buddhimān

Sesiapa yang bijaksana, yang membaca atau mendengar kisah suci Raja Yayāti, akan menjadi berharta, dikurniai zuriat, panjang umur, dan masyhur. Melalui śravaṇa dan pāṭha demikian, paśu (jiwa yang terikat) memperoleh keberkatan dan bergerak menuju rahmat Pati, Śiva.
