Shloka 167

वासिष्ठकथनम् (आदित्य–सोमवंशवर्णनम् तथा रुद्रसहस्रनाम-प्रशंसा)

स्थावराणां पतिश्चैव नियतेन्द्रियवर्तनः सिद्धार्थः सर्वभूतार्थो ऽचिन्त्यः सत्यः शुचिव्रतः

sthāvarāṇāṃ patiścaiva niyatendriyavartanaḥ siddhārthaḥ sarvabhūtārtho 'cintyaḥ satyaḥ śucivrataḥ

Dialah Pati, Tuhan bagi segala makhluk yang tidak bergerak; tingkah laku-Nya dituntun oleh indera yang terkawal sempurna. Dialah Yang tujuan-Nya sentiasa terlaksana, makna batin dan sasaran sejati semua makhluk; tidak terjangkau fikiran, sentiasa benar, dan teguh dalam vrata yang suci.
