ग्रहसंख्यावर्णनम् — ध्रुवस्य तपोबलात् ध्रुवस्थानप्राप्तिः
ब्रूहि मन्त्रमिमं दिव्यं प्रणवेन समन्वितम् नमो ऽस्तु वासुदेवाय इत्येवं नियतेन्द्रियः
brūhi mantramimaṃ divyaṃ praṇavena samanvitam namo 'stu vāsudevāya ityevaṃ niyatendriyaḥ
Dengan indera terkawal, hendaklah dilafazkan mantra ilahi ini yang disertai Praṇava: “Om—sembah sujud kepada Vāsudeva.” Dengan disiplin yang teguh demikian, paśu (jiwa yang terikat) dipersiapkan bagi bhakti, hingga akhirnya menuju pengenalan akan Tuhan Tertinggi (Pati).
