Adhyaya 61 — ग्रह-नक्षत्र-स्थाननिर्णयः
Cosmic Abodes of Luminaries and the Shaiva Order of Time
एते तारा ग्रहाश्चापि बोद्धव्या भार्गवादयः जन्मनक्षत्रपीडासु यान्ति वैगुण्यतां यतः
ete tārā grahāścāpi boddhavyā bhārgavādayaḥ janmanakṣatrapīḍāsu yānti vaiguṇyatāṃ yataḥ
Bintang-bintang dan graha ini juga hendaklah difahami, bermula dengan Bhārgava (Śukra) dan seterusnya; kerana apabila nakṣatra kelahiran tercedera, pengaruh mereka menjadi cacat dan menimbulkan hasil yang tidak mujur. Maka keadaan mereka wajib diketahui untuk upacara pembaikan menurut Śaiva.

It frames planetary and birth-star afflictions as conditions requiring right knowledge and Śaiva śānti—turning the devotee toward Linga-upāsanā to pacify obstructive influences and restore auspiciousness.
By implication, Shiva as Pati stands beyond grahas and nakṣatras; when pasha-like afflictions arise in the field of karma, refuge in Shiva and his rites is the corrective, revealing his sovereignty over conditioned influences.
