Suta Goswami
It frames the Linga as the sign of Pati—the all-pervading Lord who becomes the power of sight, hearing, mind, and even death—so worship is not merely external; it is recognition of Shiva as the indwelling reality behind every function.
Shiva is presented as the inner governor of all śaktis: radiance (tejas), vigor (ojas), strength (bala), cognition (mind and senses), cosmic regulation (directions), and dissolution (mṛtyu). This aligns with Shaiva Siddhanta’s emphasis on Pati as transcendent yet immanent, binding and releasing the paśu through His governance of all powers.
A meditative Pashupata-oriented practice is implied: internalize worship by contemplating Shiva as the operative principle in the senses and mind (indriya-manas-adhyātma dhyāna), dissolving egoic agency and turning perception itself into Linga-darśana.
