Shloka 10

क्षुपदधीचिसंवादः — शिलादतपः, वरसीमा, मेघवाहनकल्पे त्रिदेवसमागमः

कोटिकोटिसहस्राणि अहर्भूतानि यानि वै समतीतानि कल्पानां तावच्छेषापरत्रये

koṭikoṭisahasrāṇi aharbhūtāni yāni vai samatītāni kalpānāṃ tāvaccheṣāparatraye

Tidak terbilang—berjuta-juta kali juta dan beribu-ribu—ialah “hari-hari” kosmik yang telah berlalu sebagai kalpa; dan dalam triad yang masih berbaki kemudian, sebanyak itu juga masih menanti untuk disempurnakan. Demikianlah ukuran waktu berputar; namun Pati (Śiva), tidak tersentuh oleh kalpa dan pralaya, hanya Dia sahaja Tuhan yang tidak terikat, Penguasa atas segala paśu.
