Adhyaya 27
मुकुटं च शुभं छन्नं तथा वै भूषणानि च दापयेत्प्रणवेनैव मुखवासादिकानि च
mukuṭaṃ ca śubhaṃ channaṃ tathā vai bhūṣaṇāni ca dāpayetpraṇavenaiva mukhavāsādikāni ca
Hendaklah dipersembahkan mahkota yang indah dan tertutup rapi, demikian juga perhiasan; dan dengan Praṇava (Oṁ) itu sendiri, hendaklah dihadiahkan juga kain penutup wajah serta barang-barang yang berkaitan untuk perhiasan Tuhan.

It prescribes ālaṅkāra-upacāra—adorning the Linga with crown, ornaments, and cloth—showing that devotion expresses itself through respectful offering to Pati (Shiva), helping the pashu (soul) loosen pasha (bondage) via reverent service.
