Suta Goswami (narrating the cosmological teaching within the Linga Purana discourse)
It frames creation as arising under Shiva’s sovereign power (aiśvarī māyā); Linga worship aligns the pashu (soul) with Pati (Shiva) beyond Māyā’s waking manifestation.
Shiva-tattva is implied as the supreme Lord whose aiśvarya governs Māyā; beings become manifest (jāgrat) under His power, while He remains the transcendent Pati over pasha and pashu.
A yogic takeaway is vigilance in the waking state (jāgrat) to discern Māyā’s operation; in Pāśupata-oriented practice, this supports detachment (vairāgya) and turning awareness toward Shiva as the liberating Pati.
