रजस्वलानां वृत्तिश् च वृत्त्या पुत्रविशिष्टता मैथुनस्य विधिश्चैव प्रतिवर्णमनुक्रमात्
rajasvalānāṃ vṛttiś ca vṛttyā putraviśiṣṭatā maithunasya vidhiścaiva prativarṇamanukramāt
Menurut tertibnya, ia mengajar tatakelakuan yang perlu dipatuhi bagi wanita yang sedang haid, perbezaan zuriat yang timbul daripada kelakuan itu, serta peraturan yang benar bagi penyatuan suami isteri—masing-masing menurut varṇa yang berkenaan. Maka dharma, sebagai disiplin penyucian, meneguhkan paśu (jiwa terikat) dengan mengawal nafsu, dan mengarah kehidupan rumah tangga kepada tertib yang berkat di bawah Pati, Sang Tuhan.
