Aghora-Mantra Japa: Graded Expiations, Pañcagavya Purification, and Homa for Mahāpātaka-Nivṛtti

देवस्य त्वेति मन्त्रेण संग्रहेद्वै कुशोदकम् एकस्थं हेमपात्रे वा कृत्वाघोरेण राजते

Dengan melafazkan mantra yang bermula “devasya tva…”, hendaklah dikumpulkan air yang disucikan dengan rumput kuśa dan dihimpunkan pada satu tempat—sebaiknya di dalam bejana emas. Air itu bersinar oleh daya seruan Aghora, layak untuk khidmat penyucian kepada Pati, Tuhan, dalam pemujaan Liṅga.
