Aghora-Mantra Japa: Graded Expiations, Pañcagavya Purification, and Homa for Mahāpātaka-Nivṛtti
कृत्वा च गुरुतल्पं च पापकृद्ब्राह्मणो यदि रुद्रगायत्रिया ग्राह्यं गोमूत्रं कापिलं द्विजाः
kṛtvā ca gurutalpaṃ ca pāpakṛdbrāhmaṇo yadi rudragāyatriyā grāhyaṃ gomūtraṃ kāpilaṃ dvijāḥ
Wahai kaum dwija, jika seorang Brahmana—setelah menjadi pelaku dosa—melakukan kesalahan besar iaitu mencemari ranjang guru (gurutaḷpa), maka hendaklah ia menggunakan Rudra-Gāyatrī sebagai mantra penyuci dan mengambil air kencing lembu Kapilā (berwarna perang keemasan) sebagai penebusan. Dengan kuasa mantra Rudra, paśu (jiwa terikat) dipalingkan daripada pāśa (kekotoran dan dosa) menuju kepada Pati, iaitu Śiva, Tuhan Yang Mahaesa.
