उपमन्युना कृष्णाय पाशुपतज्ञान-प्रदानम् तथा दानविधि-फलश्रुतिः
क्षुराः कर्तरिका चापि अथ पात्रमथापि वा पाशुपताय दातव्यं भस्मोद्धूलितविग्रहैः
kṣurāḥ kartarikā cāpi atha pātramathāpi vā pāśupatāya dātavyaṃ bhasmoddhūlitavigrahaiḥ
Pisau cukur, gunting kecil, dan juga mangkuk sedekah atau bejana lain hendaklah didermakan kepada seorang penganut Pāśupata—yang tubuhnya disapukan bhasma (abu suci)—agar paśu (jiwa terikat) melonggarkan pāśa (ikatan) dengan berkhidmat kepada Pati melalui disiplin Śaiva.
