Devas Praise Śiva; Gaṇeśa Manifests as Vighneśvara and Receives the Primacy of Worship
Suta Goswami (narrating; internal prayer/stuti voiced by devotees, contextual)
It frames worship as a grace-based path: steadfast devotion (to Vināyaka within the Śaiva fold) yields upliftment and a blessed state aligned with the divine—supporting the Purāṇic aim of removing obstacles to Śiva-pūjā and liṅga-upāsanā.
By seeking “tvat-sāmya” (likeness to the deity), the verse echoes Śaiva Siddhānta’s goal: the paśu (soul) is not identical with Pati (Lord), yet through anugraha (grace) it attains divine qualities—freedom from pāśa and participation in auspiciousness.
Continuous worship (sadā-kāla yajña/pūjā) is emphasized—regular devotion and offering as a practical discipline that supports purification and readiness for higher Śaiva sādhanā such as Pāśupata-oriented restraint and God-centered contemplation.
