तमाह शङ्करो देवं देवदेवो जगत्पतिः यद्यदिष्टं सुरश्रेष्ठ तत्कुरुष्व यथेप्सितम्
tamāha śaṅkaro devaṃ devadevo jagatpatiḥ yadyadiṣṭaṃ suraśreṣṭha tatkuruṣva yathepsitam
Lalu Śaṅkara—Dewa segala dewa, Tuhan sekalian alam—berfirman kepada dewa itu: “Wahai yang terbaik antara para Sura, apa sahaja yang engkau hasratkan, lakukanlah tepat sebagaimana yang engkau kehendaki.”
Shiva (Shankara)
